💪 Helping you GET & STAY LEAN by focusing on science-based programming and sustainable nutrition strategies! 🏋🏻‍♂️ Being in fitness over 10 years, I've learned many techniques and styles of training, but I've spent the most time learning all the intricacies of fat loss, body recomposition, and compound barbell movements. This ensures my clients can get AS STRONG as possible, AS SAFELY as possible, while also LOOKING YOUR BEST.

🔥 I always offer a free, no commitment 1 hour training session where we will discuss your goals, previous experiences, and tailored a plan for you.

FAQS:

What's your pricing?

The pricing for each session varies based on the frequency and duration of your training commitment. You have flexibility in choosing when and how you're billed. Training with me is a comprehensive approach, so text support and nutritional guidance are included with the training sessions at no extra cost. Pricing starts as low as $40/session.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When you first reach out to me, we'll exchange a few messages to ensure things work logistically. From there, we will schedule your no obligation, free training session! Depending on your goals, your first session may include a thorough assessment of your current capabilities, such as strength and mobility. This assessment helps me recommend the best programming and training to achieve your goals. Whether you decide to work with me or not, I want you to have a clear game plan. Additionally, during this time, you'll be able to check out the facility, ask any questions you may have, and discuss nutrition.

What's the key to getting my dream body?
Simplicity and consistency. It's not always easy, but it is simple. And I don't want you to overcomplicate this journey like I did. Let's be consistent and master the basics!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Long story short: I struggled with fitness for YEARS. I've been over weight AND I've been skinny with eating disorders. I want to help people over come these same struggles to become their best version.

I was athletic as a kid but not in great shape, leading to struggles with eating disorders in high school as I desperately wanted to be skinny. In college, I went to the other extreme and bulked up excessively, which made me unhappy. It took time and effort to find the right balance between staying lean and building strength and muscle. I know what it feels like to be overweight, skinny, and lost. As my passion for fitness grew, I realized I wanted to help others achieve their fitness goals and dream bodies. I decided to get a personal trainer myself to learn and know what it’s like to be 'the client'. I worked with two different trainers but was disappointed with the experience. It wasn't what I expected, and I quickly learned what I shouldn't do and, more importantly, what I needed to do for my clients. In 2017, in CT, I started off by training friends of my mom at their homes with limited equipment, writing them programs for when they were at the gym, providing nutritional guidance and text support. Now, I train several clients in Arizona and around the country remotely.

So, what does that mean for you? With each client and session, I strive to understand your situation thoroughly, from training to nutrition to lifestyle. I aim to be the person I needed when I struggled with my fitness, but now, I'm here for you. You can avoid the repeated struggles I faced, or if you've been struggling for some time, let's end it and get you on the right path.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a trainer?

Like any relationship, communication will be key. It's important you feel that you can be open about your goals, wants, needs, limitations, struggles, and concerns. It's always my goal to make sure you feel safe and comfortable to share whatever is important to you.

It's also equally important to work with someone who is competent within their field and going to personalize the training experiences around your goals, strengths, and limitations. There's a big difference between exercising and training. Exercising is just a workout. Training is a strategic approach. Anyone can just give you a workout that kicks your butt — look for someone capable of offering a comprehensive, tailored game plan.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have successfully trained multiple individuals, from young athletes to middle-aged women, helping them achieve their fitness goals from fat loss to strength training through personalized, scientifically-backed programs. • Men in their 20's and 30's looking to get & stay lean • Women in their 20's looking to 'tone up' and lose fat • Middle & high school athletes (pitching technique & related strength training regimen) • Mothers who prefer to work out at home or need guidance & motivation in the gym.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). My training journey was enriched by working alongside elite powerlifters at the UConn Barbell Club during my time at the University of Connecticut. I continue to deepen my fitness knowledge through various sources, including acclaimed books like "Starting Strength" and "NSCA’s Guide to Program Design." I also explore unconventional methods, such as "The TB12 Method," to ensure I have a well-rounded understanding. I continuously learn from industry professionals and stay updated with the latest published research. This includes buying new eBooks & programs and studying them. Additionally, I’ve completed several nutrition courses at UConn, achieving A's in every course. ;)
